There are numerous selections of farm stay in Perth. For this trip, I stayed in Poplars Farmstay. Poplars is a self-contained house that sits on a 10-acre working vineyard that has been growing wine grapes for over 25 years. The owner also has some sheep and alpacas as pets which you can feed during your stay. A great place for city kids to experience something the city can’t give.
It has a large patio overlooking the pet sheep and alpacas and Perth Hills and a fenced up swimming pool. On the patio, there is a gas grill where you can have a great time grilling your dinner and a place for great interactions. Poplars also has a fully furnished kitchen. Many shops and restaurants in Australia, they have short operating hours or they are closed for the day pretty early and this fully furnished kitchen will be the place for you to settle your dinner.
It has 3 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 persons comfortably, a study or sitting room, open plan kitchen, dining and living area. This is a great accommodation for families with young kids. They have a playroom filled with toys to keep them occupied. They too provide baby cot, baby chair and baby diapers changing stations for toddlers.
In the past, have heard a lot of comment saying Perth is boring. So untrue. This place is the second place I would love to be there again. I really love Perth as it is very relaxing and the kids enjoyed themselves too. Find out more on where to go for fun and food.
