Before I visited Perth, friends around me would not recommend Perth as a holiday destination as they find it boring. After I visited Perth, it was an amazing experience for me. I felt total relaxation while I was there and this is the second place I would like to visit again. Below are some for the places I would recommend you to go and especially if you have kids travelling with you.
The Cuddly Animal Farm
128 John St, Henley Brook WA 6055, Australia
A place for you to get up close with farm animals. In Cuddly Animal Farm, you get to feed animals like the rabbits, genuine pigs and goats. There is a tractor ride and pony ride as well. This is a place where the kids definitely enjoy the most.
Lot 99a Lord St, Whiteman WA 6068, Australia
Do take the tram ride while you are at Whiteman Park. The tram takes you around the park and you might get wild kangaroos sighting. I was lucky enough to have multiple kangaroos sighting while I was there. There is a Tractor Museum in the park that house one of the largest tractor in the world. They have a Tractor Parade on every second Sunday of the month
Caversham Wildlife Park
Unit B/99 Lord St, Whiteman WA 6068, Australia
Caversham Wildlife Park is within The Whiteman Park. Entrance fees apply. In here, you get lots of photo taking opportunities with animals like the Kola, Wombat and Kangaroos up close. There is a Molly’s Farm within the park where they show you how a typical farmer daily life would be like from sheepherding to shaving the sheep’s wool.
My personal gift preference is always a practical choice, its either a product that can be used frequently or something that can be eaten. Here are some places you can visit to buy some local products like honey, chocolate and nuts.
House of Honey, 867 Great Northern Hwy, Herne Hill WA 6056, Australia
Whistler’s Chocolate Factory, 506 Great Northern Hwy, Middle Swan WA 6056, Australia
Mondo Nougat and Morish Nut, 640 Great Northern Hwy, Herne Hill WA 6056, Australia
After all the fun, you’ll definitely feel hungry and tired. Find out more on where to go for food and accommodations.
